They make bayou shadows a place where you can call this complex home. I love that they try their best to bring us together as a community with different events and this really makes you feel like you moved to the right place. Its a humble experience out of this world I can my first impression of walking in to even want to move here was captivating. When you have amazing people that work in the office you are sold but having the apartments is a plus so I will promote and tell anybody about this place if I can give them a million stars I would.

On occasion that noisy neighbors move in, they tend to weed themselves out. Complex is a mixture of young and old alike with friendly staff and maintenance department. Would highly recommend

submitted by Nolan M. - |Recommended: YesAffordable Living and Convenient Location for UL Students — Bayou Shadows is a very good option for students pursuing their degrees at UL convenient location, reasonable pricing, and available parking all factor into making this complex a nearly ideal choice for graduate students like myself. While a few features of my unit have their problems drains clog easily, appliances are worn down and occasionally break, there are issues with mold in the bathroom, etc. , the maintenance staff is responsive and professional, and they handle work orders promptly. Furthermore, I have found the leasing office staff to be welcoming and helpful when responding to my questions or concerns.

Just wish there was a kids playground area with swings, slide, monkey bars, etc. I don't hear my neighbors much at all, so my 5-star rating is a good rating for low noise.

The office staff is friendly, the maintenance staff is great, and it is a nice community. In this current apartment I have noisy neighbors but that is not the complexes fault and they have helped any chance they could. I would recommend anyone to live here.
