|Recommended: YesMY HOME AWAY FROM HOME — I love the staff!!!! They even know residents by name. Maintenance is a huge plus; they are always working to keep the apartments well kept, from the inside and outside. Very friendly neighbors; location is a plus (especially if you're a UL student); everything is less than 10 minutes away from grocery stores to downtown. This is my second apartment since moving to Lafayette, I have a one-year old daughter, and I've lived here for over a year. I would live here until I get a house, but diffidently no time soon :-)

|Recommended: YesExcellent neighborhood — First and foremost it has a very good neighborhood that is quiet. I like its residents as well. It has a responsible and reliable management. I am also satisfied with the maintenance. My only concern is the PETS. Sometimes people don't clean up their pet's mess although the special bags are already provided for this purpose. Overall, I am very happy to live in Bayou Shadows and i really like it.

|Recommended: YesHuge complex. People of all ages. Great staff. — I love living here for the location. Close to I10 and 10 minutes away from everything in Lafayette. Staff is great and maintenance takes care of work orders promptly.

|Recommended: YesMy neighbors are very cool. The people in the office are awesome! — Its fun. We BBQ and hang at the pool. I had birds make a nest on my porch and had 4 babies that all flew off. It was neat. The girls in the office are super nice, and maintenance Frank is super cool.
|Recommended: YesBSA has been a very good place to call home. — The first thing is the convenience because of its excellent location. The next would be the staff who are friendly and responsive to requests. Finally, is the sense of community...it is truly like a neighborhood with neighbors helping one another.

|Recommended: YesGreat staff, very quick maintenance response time! — Bayou Shadows is a great place to live! It is conveniently located to many things in Lafayette. The staff are very friendly and helpful! The only negative thing I would say is that there is not enough storage space for me. I have a lot of things, though, I just wish there was an out door closet or storage area for each apartment. Other than that, I love living here!

The maintenance staff is awesome... very prompt and efficient... in my area, it's fairly quiet and I have easy access to everything... I like the new flooring and there is alot of space for me and my family...

The rent is fair and the apartments are built to last with a comfortable layout. I have tried a lot of different apartments and have found that you get better service and a better apartment at a better price than you will find anywhere around here.
