The things that contribute to my liking of bayou shadows are price, location, privacy, cleanliness of grounds, staff, neighbors, pet areas, amount of pools. I would recommend living here

submitted by Brandi C. - |Recommended: YesAll About the Staff — The way the staff treated me throughout the application process and first introductions was paramount to my decision to move into Bayou Shadows at all. I ve lived in and have been shown 5 apartment complexes across Lafayette, and more often than not staff have been either rude and assuming with unpleasant tones, or have been completely indifferent and unwelcoming. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into Bayou Shadows and be treated with respect, and as if staff would answer any question and find a way to solve any issues that concern you. They all have pleasant voices, they make you feel welcomed and as though they would love you to live there. Even when discussing rules and policies, there was no accusation, assumption, or rudeness, just pleasantry. They walked me through the process without me feeling rushed. When I saw the apartment I will be moving into, they made it clear that if any of the older appliances give me problems, they will immediately replace them with updated versions. Ms. Marty in particular really made this a very positive experience for me, and if their treatment follows this pattern, I think I ll be at Bayou Shadows long term.

submitted by Susan C. - |Recommended: YesOverall a very nice place to live — I d say that #1 the office staff and maintenance employees are very friendly and take care of my requests very quickly, and with care like it s their home they re working on. The pools and grounds are super clean and well maintained. Although this complex is very old the updates in the apartment are very nice.
